Objectives 

This module aims to introduce students in the fascinating world of sparkling. This product has the largest growing rates in the wine industry. The students will achieve knowledge of the different methods used to produce sparkling wines and the advantages and disadvantages of each one. Also, there’re some specific characteristics for these wines from the point of view of tasting, viticulture, legal issues and so on; all these topics will be covered in this course. A laboratory session and couple of sessions of practical work could be envisaged.

Outcomes:

  • Online and physical coaching has taken place, and plans have been made to incorporate it in SU and UNCuyo study programs.
  • UNDec piloted the module in the context of the existing masters in agricultural science programme.
